Anti-Bullying

For any student who experiences bullying in school, there are clear procedures and support structures in place to support the student and deal with instances of bullying on every level of severity.  There are number of reporting structures that can be initiated.

• Students can report to their parents, who in turn can contact their son’s form tutor.
• Students can report directly to their Form Tutor
• Students can report to Miss D Mills (Student Support Manager)
• Students can report to their relevant Head of House
• Students can report to Ms S Goult (Anti-Bullying Lead)
• Alternative methods of support are offered through the SHARP system; this can be found on the school website and is accessed daily by Mr P Woodhouse and Miss D Mills.

King's Norton Boys' School also has a clear structure of consequences for Perpetrators of bullying.  These can be found on the school website under 'About Us' > 'Statutory Information' > 'Policies & Procedures'.

King's Norton Boys' School is currently working towards Anti-Bullying Quality Mark - UK accreditation.

The school Anti-Bullying Policy is reviewed and overseen by the Steering group.
